Attendance Policy

Punctuality Matters

Good attendance and punctuality are a must to fulfill the pupil's potential. We take attendance seriously to ensure every student gets the most out of their education.

  • Minimum 90% attendance required to fulfill pupil's potential
  • Unsatisfactory attendance (below 80%) may lead to expulsion in next term
  • Inform school on the same day before 10am if child misses school
  • Provide evidence for reasonable absence
  • Send child to school after doctor appointment or recovery from sickness
  • School will not compromise on punctuality

Student Safety Guidelines

For the protection of all students

  • Parents/carer must inform who will pick up their child
  • Inform school if student comes to school and returns home by themselves
  • Late pickup penalty: ৳50 per day after 3 occurrences (30 min late) in a month
Payment

Tuition Fee Payment Policy

Payment Guidelines

Tuition fees should be paid on time, otherwise it has to be paid with fine in the next installment.
In case of difficulties, the school must be informed beforehand.
Note: If anybody cannot pay the full amount, fees are negotiated based on their situation.

Guidelines for educational trips and excursions

Trip Venues by Class

KG-Class 3Within Lalpur
Class 4-5Within Lalpur and Bagatipara
Class 6-7Within Natore

Trip Guidelines

  • Two teachers responsible: Subject teacher and Arabic teacher
  • Class teacher leads the whole program
  • Maximum five parents can go (first paid, first served)
  • Parents are informed by letter 15 days before the trip
  • Parents help teachers and students during the trip
  • Accounts/responsible person manages transport
  • Students do a project/presentation after trip (marked out of 20)
Zero Tolerance

Anti-Bullying Policy

Bullying prevents respect, reduces opportunities, and limits progress. No teacher or student is allowed to be engaged in bullying.

Forms of Bullying:

  • Physical assault/hitting/beating
  • Verbal attack
  • Exclusion of a person from a group
  • Stealing or damage to property
  • Threatening

Response: If any objection is raised, it will be investigated, dealt with promptly, the problem resolved, and appropriate discipline measures taken.

Meeting Staff & Complaint Policy

How to Raise Concerns

Meeting Staff: Make an appointment, or talk 15 mins before lessons start or after school is over for urgent matters.

Complaint Process:

Try to settle the matter personally with the staff member

If unresolved, complain to the Secretary or person in charge

If still unresolved, contact the Chairman

Note: Girls are not allowed to wear any form of nose-jewelry.

The school will not take any responsibility for missing or loss of expensive clothing or jewelry.
